Q: How can I know that I am buying a Genuine Stebel product ?
A: First, be sure to buy your Stebel product from a Factory Authorized Dealer or Distributor. Secondly, all Genuine Stebel products bear the Stebel emblem and International Patent Numbers. GPE Customs is an Authorized Stebel Dealer.
Q. What is the difference between Metallic and Chrome.
A. Metallic refers to a "chromed appearance" that is achieved through a process known as "vacuum metallizing". In the case of Stebel Horns, "chrome" refers to the actual process of chroming a surface that has the life and endurance of typical chromed products that can be polished if necessary. While vacuum metallized or metallic products have a chromed appearance, they may not retain that appearance as long as a chromed product and should not be polished.
Q: What is a Tuning Horn ?
A: In Italy, where Stebel products are made, "Tuning" refers to the concept of "Fine Tuning" the appearance of the owner's vehicle. The word "Tuning" has nothing to do with the sound or function of the horn.
Q: What is the GPE Customs "Total Blackout" look.
A: We apply three coats of lightly textured, weather-proof, rubber-like coating to the surface of the horn. The coating is the same as the coating used for pickup truck bed protection. Many motorcycle owners prefer this look and the added weather protection that it offers.
